The Razer Blade 14 (2023) height has increased by a mere 0.04 inches, which is hardly noticeable. It is slightly deeper to accommodate the 16:10 display, but the length has been shortened to maintain a compact form factor. In terms of size, the Blade 14 has slightly shifted dimensions compared to the previous model. However, the matte black finish is a fingerprint magnet and requires some extra care. It features a boxy-shaped CNC-milled aluminum chassis that exudes durability. The peaks and Furmark do go higher because Gigabyte increased their card's power limit to 270 W, which is a good thing as it allows Boost to clock the card higher for longer.The design of the 2023 Blade 14 remains largely unchanged from its predecessor. In gaming, the card is quite close to the RTX 3070 FE in power consumption, around 10 W higher. Non-gaming power consumption is a few watts higher than with the RTX 3070 FE, but not by enough to worry. Power consumption results of other cards on this page are measurements of the respective reference design. Initial bursts during startup are not included as they are too short to be relevant. We report the highest single reading after a short startup period. This results in very high no-game power-consumption that can typically only be reached with stress-testing applications.
